DIJITAL IMAGE CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT (ECTS: 5)
This unit aims to develop skills and understanding in sourcing, creating, developing and managing digital images for specific purposes.
DRAWING TECHNIQUES AND PROCESSES IN ART&DESIGN (ECTS: 5)
This unit aims to develop and extend learners’ technical and creative skills through drawing and their understanding of drawing media, materials and techniques.
TYPOGRAPHY (ECTS: 5)
This unit aims to develop learners’ understanding and skills in the application and of typography within interpreted norms and conventions, for print, digital and screen-based outcomes. By the end of the course students should be able to accomplish the following learning objectives: Understand current typographic practice and its application to print, digital and screen-based outcomes
Be able to apply current typographic practice in producing design work Be able to select and use type to meet requirements.
ANIMATION TECHNIQUES (ECTS: 5)
This unit aims to develop learners’ understanding of the essential technology components that an interactive media developer will need to use and to develop skills in using them.

BASIC DESIGN (ECTS: 5)
This unit aims to develop skills and understanding in sourcing, creating, developing and managing images for specific purposes.
EMBLEM AND LOGO DESIGN (ECTS: 6)
The aim of this unit is to extend the skills of learner about logo design both in formal and conceptual ways.
WEB DESIGN (ECTS: 8)
The aim of this unit is to extend the skills of learner about web design and management both in formal and conceptual ways.
ILLUSTRATION (ECTS: 5)
The aim of this unit is to development and refinement of drawing skills fundamental to the study and practice of illustration. The unit also aims to give students the opportunity to explore composition, assemblage, methods of pictorial communication, visual metaphors, and the cultural aspects of image making.
LAYOUT DESIGN (ECTS: 5)
This unit focuses on developing learners’ skills and understanding in constructing editorial designs for graphic design briefs. Learners will develop solutions to creative design projects for the digital environment.
IDEAS GENERATING AND DEVELOPMENT (ECTS: 4)
Creative thinking and the ability to generate free flowing ideas are vital skills for all artists and designers. This unit aims to develop skills in generating and communicating ideas visually.
GRADUATION PROJECT (ECTS: 8)
This course is designed for students to combine their theoretical knowledge gained throughout their education in the program and their practical experience to work with and/or study on a specialized subject related with the field. In this course, the students agree on a specific subject to work with an advisor and they develop a thesis dissertation composed of literature review about that subject. At the end of the course, the students should submit a final dissertation or report about their study to the program and present their study verbally to an academic commission consists of academic staff of the program.
PRACTICUM (ECTS: 10)
This course aims to increase students experience and familiarity to work with professionals in the field. Thus, the student should complete a 30-days practicum in a design company in the country. Before practicum student must complete First Grade Courses, in other words, 1st and 2nd Semester Courses are prerequisite for practicum. In that practicum student are responsible to observe daily practices of the relevant institution and report her/his daily observation in a detailed way.
